Yukon has entered into an agreement with all other Canadian jurisdictions to streamline the application process as governed by securities legislation. This system is called the Passport System and is governed by National Instruments created by the Canadian Securities Administrators (“CSA”).

An index of all National Instruments applicable in Yukon with notation concerning effective dates and all subsequent amendment dates. This table is prepared in accordance with section 5(1)(d) of Local rule 11-802.

National Policies

National Policies provided by the CSA in order to compliment the legislated national Instruments. National Policies are not mandatory and are intended to provide guidance, reflecting the CSA’s current interpretation of certain sections of those National Instruments.

Local Rules

Local rules enacted by the Minister of Community Services in accordance with Section 169 of the Securities Act. These rules can either create Yukon specific rules or amend National Instruments.
