Yukon Municipal Financial Information Returns

The Financial Information Return is a standardized template for municipal financial reporting. This standardized format will allow for easier comparison, analysis and projection of financial information than is currently possible with the varied formats used across municipalities. It will also become the basis for a database of financial information which could have various applications for municipal financial planning. As this will be a tool for both Yukon and Municipal governments, Community Services welcomes feedback on the Financial Information Return from municipalities.

The Financial Information Return template is to be completed and electronically submitted to Community Services no later than September 30 each year.

The return, as well as any comments or feedback on the system, may be submitted electronically via email to YMFIR.
