Sport and Recreation
Quality sport, recreation and active living are essential to a vibrant and healthy Yukon. Sport and Recreation provides leadership, resources and support to promote the stability of the Yukon sport, recreation and active living system.
Sport & Recreation is the unit within the Community Development Branch responsible for the management of a wide variety of programs and services aimed at enhancing opportunities for sport, recreation and active living in the Yukon. The Sport & Recreation Unit works with organizations, groups, government departments, and the Volunteer Bureau in the areas of sport, recreation, health, education, justice and social services to promote a vibrant and healthy Yukon.
